The last couple of days have been very busy so I'll try and keep this as short as I can. On Wednesday and Friday I helped out at Project Trust events, speaking at college and helping out at the Aston University HE fair. It was a lot of fun actually but the amount of free snacks I managed to stash under my table was a little bit shocking! Lots of people seemed interested, but I think a lot of people were put off by how long you are away for; which for me is the most compelling part about doing a Project Trust year over anything else. It gives you the chance to become part of the community you're living in rather than just being a tourist. The most interesting event this week was the College Awards Evening. I got my college colors award for raising the money I need for India and it was a great night; a chance to see my friends (even if the emotion was too much for Marium!) And I enjoyed dressing up. Won't get many chances to see everyone before I leave the country and it was such a lovely opportunity to be a bit formal- but as you can probably see drama students aren't very good at formal! And...STRIKE A POSE!
